Chef Christophe Grilo is the founder of artisan bakery, BAO (Bakery Artisan Original). Originally from France, Christophe has worked at various Michelin-starred restaurants in France, United States and Asia, including Le Jardin des Sens in Montpellier.
Christophe was previously at Spoon by Alain Ducasse at Intercontinental Hong Kong before he came to Singapore as executive pastry chef at the beloved now-shuttered Canelé patisserie, one of the pioneers to serve high-end French pastries in Singapore, under Les Amis group.
After more than 6 years, Chef Christophe collaborated with Chef Gwen Lim, owner of Patisserie G, to start BAO. BAO incorporates highly-prized European techniques and supplies more than 8,000 high-quality, artisan breads daily to established hotels and restaurants (two-Michelin-star, Odette).
